Will I be with my family in Paradise?

Question:-

If we get Janna (may Allah grant us Janna) do we keep the same families? Or are we made pure and given our perfect mates? Is this something that is known or unknown?

Answer:-

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

Allah Most High said, "Theirs shall be the Ultimate Abode--Gardens of Permanence which they shall enter, along with those who were righteous of their parents, their spouses, and their children." (Quran, 13:22,23)

The Quranic commentators explain that the inhabitants of the higher ranks of Paradise will long for the company of those they loved most in the world--their parents, spouses, and children. If these loved ones are already one of the people of Paradise, Allah Most High will promote them to be with the higher-ranking inhabitants who long for them. Their promotion will not happen because they deserve the higher ranks, but because the reward of the higher inhabitants is only completed by their company. [1]

May Allah Most High grant us a loving relationship with someone He loves, that this love may be a means of our own bliss in the next life. Ameen.

And Allah Most High knows best.
